Learning Support Practitioner - Aurora Foxes
Location: Minehead, Somerset
Salary: £23,804.83 - £25,960.16 (FTE £25,729.60 - £28,059.20)
Hours: 40 Hours per week
Contract: FTC until August 2025
Term time plus additional days and training (42 weeks per year)
Please note: there is a requirement for shift work including weekends and sleep-ins. The number of sleep-in shifts do vary and are paid at a flat rate of £63.75 (in addition to your annual salary)
Welcome to Aurora Foxes, a specialist college and training hotel for young people with learning disabilities, situated in the friendly seaside town of Minehead. Foxes is a very special place.

The main purpose of the role:
As one of our Learning Support Practitioners your role will be to assist our students in our residential houses and at Foxes Hotel, to help achieve our mission which is to equip young adults with learning disabilities to find sustainable employment in the hospitality sector and to live independently
The role does require all successful candidates to be able to work a mixture of shifts, 7am-3pm, 2pm-10pm and 10am-6pm on a 3 week rota pattern.
