Position: SEN Teaching Assistant
Location: Caterham, Surrey and then moving to Chaldon, Surrey (RH1 3DB) from the summer term of 2025.
Hourly Rate: £12.31 - £13.16 per hour
Salary: £12.99 - £13.89 per hour (£23,210 - £24,818 actual salary dependant on qualifications) Plus £1000 Welcome bonus *
Hours: 40 hours per week - Term Time only - Start time 8.15am - Finish time Monday/Wednesday/Thursday 4.45pm. Tuesday 5pm and Friday 4pm
Aurora Caterham Education Centre (CEC)
Part of the Aurora Group, Caterham Education Centre (CEC), in Caterham Surrey are currently looking to recruit a SEN Teaching Assistant. CEC is a 30-place secondary/post 16 learning centre supporting young people aged 11 – 16 who have difficulties with communication and social interaction, typically associated with Asperger’s Syndrome and Autism, and challenging behaviour.
Aurora Chaldon School and its satellite Caterham Education Centre
Chaldon School will be opening as a new school in the summer of 2025. At this time, Caterham Education Centre will join this registration and become a satellite of Chaldon School. As one school, both sites will share the same Leadership, Admin, Therapy and Teaching teams. Students will have access to the same curriculum, opportunities and resources across both sites.
