We are currently looking for an experienced Full Time Teacher for our 'Outstanding' rated Aurora Hanley School for September 2025. The school supports young people aged 6 - 19 with ASC, communication and sensory needs. We offer life skills and a wide range of GCSE/BTEC accreditations alongside a functional skills/entry level pathway. Behaviours across the school are excellent.
We are seeking an innovative Teacher of ICT/STEM who can drive forwards our approach and create innovative lessons which will enthuse our students. Strong ICT skills, a passion for staying informed and engaged with technology and the ability to share this with others
The Role:
As a Class Teacher, your role will be to provide high quality teaching that will enable pupils to make progress not just academically but socially and emotionally.
You will foster a culture that promotes excellence, equality and high expectations of all students.
You will collaborate with colleagues to develop an exciting, innovative approach to ICT and STEM across KS2/3 and support the wider team in integrating technology to enhance learning and develop skills for lessons and real-world applications.
You will ensure inclusive practice of teaching and learning for young people with ASC.
There may be an element of delivering wider subject lessons to enable the smooth running of the school.
Naturally, you will take responsibility for implementing school policies and practices, including those relating to safeguarding and equality of opportunity.
