Location: Meldreth, Nr. Royston
Salary: £12.82-£13.87 per hour – (£26,665.60 - £28,849.60 per year)
Hours: 40 hours a week – Monday to Friday (8am – 4.30pm)
Contract: Permanent

We are currently looking for a hands-on problem solver with a passion for creating safe, welcoming environments. Join our dedicated Maintenance team at Aurora Meldreth Manor and Orchard Manor.
Meldreth Manor School, Meldreth Manor Children’s Home, and Orchard Manor provide education, care and therapeutic support for children aged 6–19 years and young adults aged 18–30 years with severe and profound communication, cognitive and physical difficulties associated with conditions such as cerebral palsy, autism, brain injury and degenerative disorders.
We’re looking for a reliable and proactive Maintenance Technician to help keep our site running smoothly. You’ll carry out essential repairs, support safety checks, and contribute to the wellbeing of our young people by maintaining the spaces they live and learn in.

The Role:
To be responsible for carrying out essential repairs, safety checks, and general maintenance to ensure our facilities remain safe, functional, and welcoming for the children and young people we support.
Key Duties:
Duties will vary, and you should be prepared to respond flexibly to the needs of the site. This is a busy and hands-on role that will require the ability to multitask, prioritise effectively, and lend a hand wherever needed to support the smooth running of our services.
