Location: Quidenham, Norwich, NR16 2NZ
Actual Annual Salary: £26,390 - £28,821 dependant on qualifications and experience
Hourly rate: £14.77 - £16.13 per hour
Hours: 40 hours per week - Term Time only - Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday 8.30am - 4.30pm, Thursday 8.30am - 5pm and Friday 8.30am - 4pm
Contract: Permanent
We are seeking dedicated and enthusiastic Higher Level Teaching Assistants to join our supportive team at Aurora Eccles School. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of young people with communication and interaction difficulties, specific learning difficulties such as dyslexia, and those on the autistic spectrum.
About the Role
As a HLTA, you will work closely with Class Teachers to support the day-to-day running of the classroom. You will also take responsibility for teaching whole classes, small groups, and individual lessons in consultation with the Class Teacher. Whilst this role is based mainly in one group, you might be asked to work across a range of classes, offering variety and the chance to build strong relationships with students.
You will be keeping tracking systems up to date, supporting and attending EHCP reviews, supporting with academic interventions, and maintaining regular contact with parents and carers.

Due to the rural location of the school, candidates are strongly advised to hold a full UK driving licence and have access to their own vehicle.
