Location: Tokers Green, Reading
Salary: £30,014 to £33,508 per year
Contract: Full time, permanent, 40 hours per week

About Aurora Rowan School

 

Opened in November 2024 in Tokers Green, Reading, Aurora Rowan School supports children aged 6–16 with Autism Spectrum Disorder, moderate to severe learning needs, and associated challenges. We are looking for a Senior Administrator to support the School Business Manager and lead the administration function.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • General Administration: Deliver efficient admin support across the school.
  • Pupil Records: Manage accurate pupil data and support the pastoral team.
  • HR Support: Assist with recruitment, appraisals, CPD bookings, and HR processes.
  • Business Admin: Oversee compliance/Data Protection, reporting, and business operations.

Skills and Qualifications

 

Skills & Qualifications

  • Strong literacy, numeracy, and IT skills (Microsoft Office essential)
  • Proven admin experience, ideally in education or care settings
  • HR and pupil administration experience desirable
  • Accurate typing and confident minute-taking
  • Excellent organisation, time management, and multitasking
  • Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills
