£12.99 - £13.89 per hour Plus £1000 Welcome bonus*

 

We are looking to recruit Teaching Assistants to join our brand new SEND school in Chaldon, Surreyfor young people aged 11-16 who require support with social communication, emotional regulation and sensory processing, typically associated with Autism.

 

Our approach includes small class sizes, high staff-to-student ratios, and a multi-disciplinary team, ensuring every child has the opportunity to thrive.

 

We’re looking for creative, proactive individuals who can think outside the box and help bring learning to life.

 

You’ll be a motivator and a problem-solver, inspiring children to believe in themselves now and in the future.

 

Key Responsibilities

 

TA’s assist teachers in delivering a broad and balanced curriculum, but more importantly in this role you will:

  • Help our young people discover just how amazing they are, building their confidence and celebrating their unique strengths.
  • Break down barriers and open doors by supporting pupils to achieve more than they ever thought possible.
  • Inspire resilience and self-belief, guiding pupils to be curious while promoting personal growth, so every pupil feels valued and motivated to succeed.
  • Celebrate every small step our pupils make towards their academic and personal goals.Support our pupils to explore learning outside the classroom and make the most of experiences and opportunities within the community.

Skills and Qualifications

You don’t need to be a highly experienced TA to be successful in this role.  If you have the right outlook, values and behaviour then we can provide the right environment and training for you to excel.

 

Successful candidates are likely to demonstrate:

  • Ability to motivate and inspire children to believe in themselves.
  • GCSE Maths and English qualification (minimum functional skills Level 2). 
  • Proactive/can-do mindset with the ability to think outside the box
  • A willingness to take advantage of our amazing (and free) training opportunities (e.g L2 award in supporting teaching and learning in schools) if not already achieved.
  • Ability to promote independence, positive behaviour, and personal development.
  • A creative approach that will enable you to adapt learning activities to meet individual needs.

Actual Annual Salary: £23,210 - £24,818 actual salary dependant on qualifications and experience Plus £1000 Welcome bonus* 
Salary:£12.99 - £13.89 per hour 
Hours: 40 hours per week - Term Time only - Start time 8.15am - Finish time Monday/Tuesday/Wednesday 4.45pm. Thursday 5pm and Friday 4pm
