Casual/Bank Care Support Worker   Location: Minehead, Somerset Salary: £9.15-£9.50 per hour + 13% Holiday Pay  Hours: Flexible shifts to suit you   The main purpose of the role:   To ensure you meet the personal care needs of service users in a way that respects the dignity of the individual and promotes independence. As an employee of The Reynard Care and Support Agency your absolute priority is to safeguard the service users in our care. We offer training in independent life skills, plus the opportunity to learn catering skills in Foxes Hotel. The happiness, well-being and success of our learners is at the centre of everything we do.   The main purpose of the role:   As one of our Education Learning Support Practitioners your role will be to assist our students during sessions within all areas of vocational training and support the hotel business team Foxes Hotel. Location: Minehead, Somerset Salary:£23,592.40 - £33,306.92 (FTE £25,500.00 - £36,000.00) Hours: 40 hours per week, Term time only plus 10 additional days   Aurora Foxes is a truly remarkable place, having received its third consecutive ‘Outstanding’ Ofsted report it offers a wide range of support to young people with disabilities looking for training that will help them get in to the world of work.   The main purpose of the role:   The post holder will provide Occupational Therapy Services in response to needs identified by assessment where appropriate, and as set out as part Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCP), to enable students to fulfil their potential all aspects of their lives.   Key duties: - To provide an Occupational Therapy Service, which is run in an efficient manner so that students’ needs are met effectively. This will include direct intervention with students, provision of programmes and guidance delivered by others, and support for the staff team to ensure that Occupational Therapy support is integrated into the delivery of the service by others. - To provide professional support, leadership and supervision as appropriate to Assistants. - To attend appropriate multidisciplinary student reviews and team meetings; promoting our culture of joint working with other disciplines and outside agencies. The happiness, well-being and success of our learners is at the centre of everything we do.   The main purpose of the role:   As one of our Learning Support Practitioners your role will be to assist our students in our residential houses and at Foxes Hotel, to help achieve our mission which is to equip young adults with learning disabilities to find sustainable employment in the hospitality sector and to live independently   Key Duties:   - As an LSP we expect you to have high expectations of all students, and to constantly challenge and stretch each student at every opportunity. - As an LSP we expect you at all times, and under the guidance of the House Team Leaders/Tutors, to support the students in their learning, enabling them to reach their full potential. - We expect all LSPs to professionally and effectively support with managing student behaviour, seeking further advice and guidance where appropriate. - Work professionally and collaboratively with the session tutor to develop a positive, constructive and proactive relationship that benefits the students and contributes significantly to their success within each session and over the duration of the course. - Use strategies to promote students’ wider skills development, such as in communication, self-advocacy, presentation skills and team work. - Work professionally 1:1 with students as directed by House Team Leaders and other LSP’s, monitoring their personal management and independent skills.
