The main purpose of the role:
As our Admissions & Transition Administrator you will work collaboratively, professionally and effectively within all areas of the organisation as appropriate. You will work directly with the Admissions & Transition team to complete all aspects of its administration.
You will be expected to work efficiently and to a professional standard at all times.
Key duties:
- Supporting the Admissions process by processing referrals, parental enquiries and applications.
- Liaise with parents and staff team to facilitate initial contact, tours and giving general information about the college.
- Keep accurate records relating to admissions and transition.
- Liaise with the business development team as required.
- Support the Admissions and Transitions team to identify and attend transition events.
- Support the Admission and Transition team with transition-in activities and on Enrolment day.
- To support processes for transitioning young people in to the college.
- To deliver training regarding appropriate and pertinent information for all incoming Students.
- To attend and chair EHCP reviews for 1st and 2nd year students, ensuring any pertinent information is shared in a timely manner.
- To support the Transition Officer with all aspects of the Transition out of Aurora Foxes, in to employment and supported living.

Kitchen Assistant – Aurora Foxes

As our Bank Kitchen Assistant you will be responsible for maintaining good hygiene within the kitchen, including but not limited to washing pots and pans, mopping, fridge checking and ensuring the kitchen’s smooth working order.
Key duties:
- Wash-up after meal service using the dishwasher.
- Keep all areas of the Stillroom clean and hygienic at all times.
- Keep dry and vegetable stores area clean and tidy.
- When required to unpack, check and store fresh and dry goods.
- Undertake general cleaning duties of the Stillroom, Flying Fox, Training Kitchen, and Main Kitchen as directed by the Chefs.

Key Duties:
- To ensure the safety and well-being of the students while on duty by being aware of Company policies relating to Food Hygiene, Food Safety, Health & Safety and COSHH.

- To absolutely ensure to always deliver a high standard of customer care.

Maintenance Technician – Aurora Foxes

The main purpose of the role:
As one of our Maintenance Technician your role will be to support in the implementing of all planned works onsite and all other maintenance repairs and minor alterations at any of the Aurora Foxes Academy properties.
You will follow a planned maintenance programme for each property and revise and update as required, working independently when required and be a supportive member of the team for larger projects
Key duties:
- Be prepared to assist in all areas of building repairs and maintenance, subject to skills and experience, including floods, burst pipes, blocked gutters, broken windows, failure of electrical equipment, redecoration, and damaged or dangerous furniture and equipment.
- Act as a key holder, carrying out security procedures for the buildings and grounds. The routine and non-routine opening of premises and grounds.
- Responding to calls outside normal working hours as a result of break-ins and emergency repairs are required.
- Make regular checks on all fire alarms, emergency lights and maintain appropriate records, logs, etc.
- Ensure that all fixtures, fittings, new installations and any work undertaken complies with appropriate Health & Safety legislation and Company Policy. To be fully aware of all Safety at Work Policies when undertaking or supervising work/contractors, and identify any remedial action required to avert or avoid potentially hazardous situations or conditions
- Prioritise and schedule all maintenance and repairs in consultation with Managers, giving due consideration for the working and living environment of learners, staff and hotel guests.
- Ensure all records, registers and other relevant logs are completed as work progresses in accordance with the inspection procedures, or as required by legislation. Liaise with the Line Manager and Administration staff to ensure all relevant equipment is properly recorded and listed for PAT testing, fire alarm inspection guarantees, asset register etc
Duties will vary, you must expect to diversify and lend a hand wherever is required. There is a rotational on-call requirement for emergencies, which attracts an additional allowance.

- Ensure that all students receive professional, timely and effective feedback, with appropriate strategies (next steps) to improve their performance, and that such discussions are evidenced through effective and professional record keeping.
- Prepare, direct and lead Learning Support Practitioners (LSP) within your session, and to actively always promote a professional attitude and approach with the LSP. Ensure the LSP is provided with direction to best support students within the session.
- All tutors must be familiar with, and actively use the principles of RARPA (Recognising and Recording Progress and Achievement). Functional Skills tutors will become familiar with City and Guilds assessments in maths, English and ICT.

As our Bank Housekeeperwill be responsible for the cleanliness and upkeep of all furniture, fixtures, and fittings in all the bedrooms and public areas of Foxes Hotel. The Housekeeper will also be responsible for carrying out full changeovers and servicing of guest bedrooms to a high standard.
The main purpose of the role is housekeeping, however, should there be instances where there are no Housekeeping duties to complete, the role will also involve supporting Students.
Key duties:
- To be responsible for checking each hotel room and area daily, to ensure correct items are placed in the rooms.
- To be responsible for the welfare and comfort of our guests. To ensure they are well cared for during their stay with us and will wish to return.
- Assist and/or attend student and hotel events, such as graduations.
- Supervise and control the laundry and domestic stock and to ensure all chemicals are securely locked away.

- Plan and prepare robust and professional assessments, ensuring that all tracking (including base lining, target setting and review) and reports associated with these are completed accurately, efficiently, and in a timely manner, and that any records are kept up to date. All tutors must be familiar with, and actively use the principles of RARPA (Recognising and Recording Progress and Achievement) and accredited
- Work professionally and collaboratively with all colleagues and teams across the Aurora Foxes, including the Therapy team and House Team Leaders, to analyse student performance and ensure that they make progress commensurate with their ability. Where underachievement is identified appropriate strategies should be implemented immediately and reviewed. Where overachievement is identified, targets should be reviewed, and further challenges agreed within teams and set.
- Ensure that all students receive professional, timely and effective feedback, with appropriate strategies (next steps) to improve their performance, and that such discussions are evidenced through effective and professional record keeping (Evaluations, Tutorials and Reviews).
- Prepare, direct and lead Learning Support Practitioners (LSPs) within your session. Ensure that LSPs contribute throughout the session including session evaluation and student assessments where applicable.
